Do you offer a free consultation? +
Yes — I offer a free 20-minute introductory call so we can get a sense of each other before committing to sessions. There's no obligation whatsoever. It's a chance for you to ask questions, share what's brought you here, and decide whether we feel like a good fit.
How many sessions will I need? +
It varies depending on what you're working on. CBT therapy typically runs for 8–20 sessions, though some people benefit from fewer. Coaching programmes are often 6–12 sessions. We review progress regularly and you always have the final say on when you feel ready to finish.
What's the difference between therapy and coaching? +
Therapy is designed to help you understand and work through difficulties — things like anxiety, depression, trauma or past experiences that are affecting your life. Coaching is more forward-focused: it's for people who are generally coping well but want to grow, set goals, and unlock their potential. Some clients benefit from a blend of both, and we can explore that together.
Do you offer online sessions? +
Yes, all services are available online via secure video call, as well as in person. Many clients find online sessions just as effective and appreciate the convenience. We'll choose whatever works best for you.
Is everything I share confidential? +
Absolutely. Everything discussed in sessions is completely confidential. As a BABCP accredited practitioner, I follow strict professional and ethical guidelines. The only rare exception would be if there were a serious risk of harm — which I would always discuss with you openly first.
Do you work with children and young people? +
Yes. I work with children, adolescents and young people using age-appropriate CBT approaches. For younger children, I often involve parents or carers as part of the process. Please get in touch to discuss your child's specific needs.
How much do sessions cost? +
Session fees vary depending on the type of support and your circumstances. Please get in touch directly and I'll be happy to share current rates and discuss what might work for you. I aim to make my services as accessible as possible.
